ECAC Welcomes Class of 2016 to Hall of Fame

DANBURY, Conn. - The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) held its Second Annual Hall of Fame Gala and Induction Ceremony on April 15, 2016 at the Matrix Conference and Banquet Center.

"It was an honor and privilege to recognize a special group that has had an immeasurable impact on the world of college athletics and specifically the ECAC," said President & CEO Dr. Kevin T. McGinniss. "This event was an opportunity for these remarkable individuals to share their incredible achievements with family and friends and be forever recognized for the indelible mark that they have made on the ECAC."

The evening featured 15 individuals and one team being inducted into the ECAC Hall of Fame. The Class of 2016 received well-deserved recognition for their efforts and contributions to the ECAC and intercollegiate athletics. Over 175 people were in attendance to celebrate the accomplishments and achievements of the Hall of Fame Class of 2016.

In the 76 years since its inception, the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) has emerged as the nation's largest Conference. The ECAC has grown considerably from its charter membership of 58, boasting over 300 member schools in Divisions I, II and III, ranging in location from Maine to Georgia, and westerly to Missouri.
